Through STEM education, live-saving flights and a wide range of community service; we believe even a small plane can make a big difference.
Welcome to the Little Yellow Plane Project
Staying true to our Mission Statement, Aviation plays a critical role in Hawaii with its unique geography; connecting communities and a number of other vital services between the islands.
Our team of Volunteers quickly took shape and started flying rescue animals during the pandemic, while resources and flights were hard to come by. We quickly realized aviation could serve our community in a much bigger, smarter and quicker way.
From flying relief supplies after the Lahaina Fire, collecting school supplies to our underserved keiki, hosting aviation camps and STEM events and so much more! The Little Yellow Plane aims to uplift our community and make the most of our flight hours.
The iconic yellow 1968 Cessna 150 can be seen soaring across the islands on her way to emergency vet appointments, carrying supplies for our community, teaching a new generation of aviation volunteers and training or giving a child their first taste of flight.
